The OAP Branch 4 is a great place for seniors to get together to meet other seniors. From Monday to Friday each week there are many activities to partake in. They also have bbq’s on special days such as Canada Day, B.C. Day, etc. Twice a month they have a lunch for members and bring in informative speakers that help seniors deal with different problems and keep them up-to-date on what is happening. I really enjoy going there as members are so friendly and have a good outlook on life. It is a wonderful place to go for those seniors that have no family and are alone. I just turned 69 and joined 2 years ago. I have a family, but really enjoy going to the OAP group as I have so much fun and lots of laughs! Hope OAP Branch 4 will continue being there for us seniors for many many. more years!

OAP Branch 4 is supportive and encouraging to all it’s members. It’s great to socialize and discuss issues that affect us all. OAP has also been responsible for supporting younger persons in the community, as well as supporting other community

groups. The Guest speakers are informative about current and future community issues, as well as providing solutions to some of the issues we will need to deal with in the future, and even pass on the great information to other seniors..

Social events and activities help seniors feel apart of the community, especially for those who live alone, or even respite for caregivers to chat with friends.
